COLUMN PROBLEMS

Hi there, pals!

I have the following problem:

When I try to open a two-column epub on my Cybook-Odyssey e-reader the book opens on the first or second page and then there is an error message about going on and afterwards the file is ignored. Obviously, the e-reader cannot display multiple columns, as this does not happen with one-column epubs.

Is there a way to convert multiple-column e-book files to one-column ones using Calibre?

Any other e-book management program to that effect?
