Desiderius Erasmus (1466-1536) was a priest, scholar, author, and translator, and a leading figure in the humanist movement before and during the Reformation. His works were very influential and were produced in many editions and translations all through Europe during his lifetime and after.

Erasmus Against War, also known as Against War, contains selections from Anti-Polemus which was written in Latin with some Greek words, and published in 1511. It went through 36 editions during Erasmus' life and many more since then.

The source text was taken from the 1907 Merrymount Press edition from the Internet Archive and and from Project Gutenberg file 39487-h.htm, and checked against the pdf version. I have not included the title page or drop cap images, but have included Translations and Annotations as end notes.
