Unable to setup, version is newer than desktop app

I had a Kobo Touch for 5 years, all is ok with it, just got an Aura One, tried to connect to the Kobo Desktop app to setup and I got this message:

I was able to connect and update the Aura One via Wi-Fi, but now my Touch is getting the same error message when I connect to the PC via USB. I re-installed the Kobo Desktop app, and I am getting the same error message with the Touch.
