I am fairly sure I update Calibre pretty quickly every time it updates so it should generally, at most be one behind if at all so I was confused when I noticed that Calibre said version 9.3.1 in the preferences menu and showed that update 9.9.0 is available.
I downloaded the installer for 9.9.0 and it shows the change, repair, remove menu which implies it's already at 9.9.0 now.
But it still shows the 9.9.0 update as being available and the 9.3.1 version tag in preferences.
I started second guessing my assumption that it must be 9.9.0 and the 9.3.1 is just reporting the wrong version number and thought that perhaps it somehow confused the installer when it was expected the version it was being asked to update to be 9.8.x but the version was actually 9.3.1 so I tried downloading the installer for 9.4, 9.5, 9.6, 9.7, and 9.8 as well and try them and they all told me it was already a new version (I wanted to be thorough before asking anywhere because I am shy).
SO, it's definitely actually 9.9.0. ...right?
Is the misreporting a bug or is something in my install broken/breaking? If its a bug, has it been reported?
