Icarus Illumina bricked

Hello everyone!

I'm new to this forum and I have a question. I have an old Icarus Illumina E653 from my aunt which does not work anymore, it's in a sort of loop trying to start up.
I read a thread from nightboy about rooting and unbricking the device, unfortunately the necessary images are not available anymore. Has anyone an image available for the Icarus Illumina? I think it's the Pearl version (How will I know for sure?).
And can I use the guidelines in this thread to fix it or is this device too outdated and not worth the effort?
