Call me stupid, but I cant seem to be able to use the USB C cable that came with my new kindle for data transfer. Is it a charging-only cable? Is this yet another way Amazon is discouraging the sideloading of books through USB transfer?
Using a different cable lets me mount and transfer files without issue. This is exactly the kind of nonsensical restriction that sours long-term customers opinions of Amazon.
