Long-press in the corners of the screen prevents use of the dictionary

I configured all four corners of my Kindle’s screen to perform actions when long-pressed. However, I noticed that when I try to open the dictionary by tapping on a word near one of these corners, KOReader triggers the configured action instead of showing the dictionary pop-up.
In the example video, the bottom-left corner is set to toggle night mode on long press. But when I try to look up a word near that corner, it toggles night mode instead of opening the dictionary.
