Howdy. I'm very tempted to pick up the new Boox Go 7 (2025 monochrome), now that Barnes & Noble is going even more backwards with its Nook line. However, I'm also a bit of a privacy enthusiast.
What would be the best way to maintain privacy on a Boox e-reader without rooting the device? Is it possible to get OS updates without having the device go online? I.e., download the OS update from a website on my desktop computer, and upload it to the Boox e-reader with a USB flash drive or something?
