My problem started (I think) when I upgraded to the current version, which is 8.1.1
For example, if I have an an editor listed in the author field, such as this:
xxxx, xxxx [Ed.]
the file doesn't open. The "Book Files" also will not open. When I remove those brackets, then everything is fine.
Same thing with parenthesis in the author field, as below:
(put author here)
Same issue here, but in the TITLE field:
[15] The Works of James Branch Cabell : The Eagle's Shadow
When I delete the brackets, the file opens.
This is only with PDFs, by the way.
Sometimes I can be pretty stupid about obvious things. Don't hesitate to let me know. :D:):thumbsup:
