Edward Dyson was an Australian journalist, poet and tireless short story writer under several pseudonyms: Dy Edwardson, Ed. Ward, Ward Edson and Silas Snell are the most common. This 1929 collection contains stories previously published in The Bulletin magazine, amounting to some 33,000 words.
