I recently replaced the battery on my Kobo Aura H2O. I suspect I accidentally broke the battery connector on the motherboard, one side of it seems bit too flexible. The Kobo now does power on depending on how the connector is plugged in, but always freezes at some point. Sometimes, it freezes during startup (three dots screen), sometimes it freezes after boot-up, sometimes it remains functional for a few hours and then freezes. The only thing that has affect is if I re-connect the battery connector and move it a bit forward or backward.
I also see the power light go from solid white to flashing white light during bootup. When I got this Kobo, it was completely dead so I have no idea is the flashing white light is part of normal boot process.
Has anyone had any experience with this? How can I fix this?
I've tried take some pictures but achieving good focus seems tricky.
