If anyone is interested i have implemented a Lsposed module for my Note Air 3c. Theoretically it should work with any boox device.
The purpose is to allow to change pages while the screen is off (something we ve already implemented on the Hisense A9):
* add the app to the whitelist of apps for reader mode
* open the app
* lock the device
* press volume up/down (obviously i use headphones with volume buttons)
* device wakes up (without turning on the light!)
* current app receives the volume up/down thus changes page
* device turns off
It also works with keyguard.
if you have a play/pause button, pressing it while locked will wakeup/refresh/sleep
It comes with settings to adjust it to your need / tablet speed. The reason is that boox pagechange/refresh is pretty tricky/slow so you might need to ajust parameters to get something that works fine for you.
