Problem deleting books in Calibre Sync

I use Calibre Sync on my Pixel 7 Pro to import and delete books from Calibre in my PC. On occasion when using "Remove Books" in Calibre (and choosing remove from both library and device), the wireless connection between PC and phone glitches. Then the book is removed from the Calibre library but remains in Calibre Sync in the phone. In limbo.
There must be a way to then delete the book on the phone, but it escapes me! I'm missing something....
