New tiny readers showing up?

I periodically search to see if I can find a new 5" reader worth playing with, hoping to find something new that's not been talked about and ran across these tiny little readers that I think are fairly recent. 3.1 (some say 3.2) inch screen with a front-light...

This thing is diminutive! Would be an interesting toy, if I could replace the OS with KOReader somehow. :)

They look like the same device to me, but different user interfaces, which makes me wonder if this is a development platform that I can buy somewhere to play with.
