Publisher Default Font

I have searched but could not find anything useful so bear with me if this issue already has been addressed.

I can't change the font in the book I am reading. In the menu it says that the font is 'Publisher default'. There is no drop down menu with other fonts to pick from.

Is there a way I can fix this?
