A dozen humorous short stories by American author Richard Connell (1893-1949). He was a prolific writer of short fiction for the American "slick" magazines, who paid immeasurably better than the "pulps". These stories first appeared in "The Saturday Evening Post", "Colliers", and the like. His entertaining humorous tales now have been overshadowed by the immense success of his suspense novelette "Most Dangerous Game", which has been filmed more than once, and reprinted countless times.
