KOReader: alt status bar has become microscopic

I'm trying KOReader out (it's great!) and while tweaking the settings to find what works for me, I made the alt status bar tinier (and then even tinier).

I tried to change font size from 14 to 19 but it didn't change anything.

I added a picture to illustrate how microscopic it is at the moment.

How do I get it back to the "not for ants" size?
