Hello,
I've noticed that index navigation is awfully slow and cumbersome. So a possible solution that I thought is to create some sort of inlined tabs that are clickable to make quick navigation between a few pages.
My idea is something like to common webpages menu links.
Is this a good idea in an epub? I noticed that footnotes is a huugee list at the end of the epubs.
This is a small example.
page 1
page 2
page 3
page 4 index to 5 and 6
page 5 index to 4 and 6
page 6 index to 6 and 4
page 7
page 8
I don't know how to solve this. Or have a special title that makes a popup menu with the navigation index.
Devices's navigation takes endless steps to travel around the doc.
The first problem I am seeing is to work around the touch areas of devices. Or perhaps it's possible to tell the device to clear those screen areas from devices touch buttons.
thanks.
