I've just received an Aura One, my first Kobo ereader, and I'm very disappointed to find it doesn't support landscape mode for epubs or kindle files (PDF only). As a consequence, I'm thinking of sending it back / selling it on ebay. But first, is there a way to enable landscape mode? (Please note: I'm not interested in a debate about why I shouldn't want to do this. I want to do it. If you don't, fine. Let's agree to disagree on that).
I've seen on here that it's possible to install alternative software / readers on the devices, though it looks technical and complex. And there's no way to tell from the info I've seen if these alternative readers actually support landscape mode. It would be a lot of trouble to go to if they don't.
So, can anyone advice me on whether achieving this is actually possible - or should I just get rid of the thing?
