MR has a lot of Ernest Bramah (1868-1942), including an omnibus of Max Carrados stories by HarryT. The Bravo of London (1934) is the only novel about Carrados and, I think, is not available here (if I'm wrong, let me know and I'll remove this upload).
Carrados is a very interesting character, and Bramah's mysteries were once considered serious rivals to Doyle and Sherlock Holmes. The main flaw with this particular one, in my opinion, is that Carrados takes a back seat to the villains.
