mobi to epub problem

I have a file gotten from demonoid in mobi format and when I try to convert it to epub, it says it converts then, when I try to read it on my reader or phone after about 30 pages it starts to repeat.
However when I read it on my pc I have no such problem.
I am not very tech savy
but any help would be appreciated.
