:help:
Trying to convert a filtered HTML(originally was a .docx content of which was copy-pasted from these series, the print friendly version: http://www.fool.com/teens/teens05.htm) file to EPUB with Calibre's convert feature, and read it on my reader.
For some reason, the very first page has no word-wrap(so text goes off the screen) and the second page is actually content that's 9 pages later and it looks fine there.
My reader shows this for page numbers at the bottom:
On the first page with text(when ebook open for the first time and you flip over from book cover which is just a custom PNG image) it says Page 2-9 of 70
On the second page(when you flip over again) it says Page 9 of 70
This happens a few times later around Page 25-30 of 70, and a couple more, and there's just no text at all sometimes at those page areas.
First time I tried to convert DOCX straight to EPUB, but tables were not preserved. After some more research a suggestion to save DOCX as filtered HTML and then convert to EPUB worked - the tables displayed properly.
Just want to be able to covert interesting articles from the Internet to EPUB so I can read them on the reader. Don't like reading off the computer screen.
