Hello everyone,
I just released v1.0 of my Page Junkie software. It is currently for Oculus/Meta VR on Windows PCs. In the next few months I plan to release a Steam VR and non-VR (Desktop PC mode) as well. All versions and future updates are included with purchase.
Page Junkie is a 3D representation of your calibre library. The first floor holds up to 8000 books, with additional virtual floors generated as needed to hold the rest of your collection. So far, I have tested it with up to 350,000 objects (44 floors) with no issues. Theoretically, it should allow over seven million books if your computer has enough RAM (999 total floors).
Here are a couple of videos to show what it is and how it works. If anyone has any questions, I will do my best to answer them.
I am actually hoping to find a few volunteers to test the Steam VR build in exchange for a free license? If you have a Steam VR headset and would like to participate, please send me a private message with your Steam VR headset model. Basically, I would have a checklist of things for you to do with your Steam controllers, and you would verify that the functions map correctly. I plan on trying to create a list of known-compatible Steam VR headsets. The Steam VR test build should be ready in a few weeks.
