Elipsa: Enabling stylus on kepub?

I've seen mentions of a kobopatch to enable the stylus to work on kepubs, but I'm not completely sure how to use that, as far as I gathered I should download the kobopatch version matching my firmware and enable the patch in 'src' but alas, the patch isn't in those yaml files.

I could use some helpful poiners in the right direction :)
