I've been using Calibre for years with Calibre Companion on my Samsung tablet with no problems.

I just got a new Samsung A03s phone and Calibre will not synchronize with the database in the phone using Caliber Companion. I am getting the following error:

calibre, version 5.38.0
ERROR: Error: Error communicating with device

There was a timeout while communicating with the device in function: Device did not respond in reasonable time

File "calibre\devices\smart_device_app\driver.py", line 579, in _read_binary_from_net
socket.timeout: timed out

During handling of the above exception, another exception occurred:

calibre.devices.errors.TimeoutError: There was a timeout while communicating with the device in function: Device did not respond in reasonable time

The phone works just fine with the Content Server. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dave
