Pocketbook weird lines on screen

Opened my reader this morning and there are weird lines at the top of the screen.

I've tried closing and opening again. I can look at books and the library, etc, but the lines persist.

The reader is nine months old and has never been dropped or abused. It has a protective case.

Ugh. Stuff like this is so stressful to me.

Any suggestions about what to do? I've contacted Pocketbook support, but no answer yet.
