#1 Hide in Time by Anna Faversham. A Regency era romance/adventure that takes place off the the southern coast of England. I am not a romance reader, but a friend is the author and I had the opportunity to read both her "next to last" draft and now the finished book, and it is an excellent read with lots of distinctive characters and a glimpse at a place and time I was not familiar with. https://www.amazon.com/Under-Dark-St...ham#nav-subnav
#2 Remix by Lexi Revellian. Another friend. Lexi is rather prolific and she has the enviable ability to write true page turners. She has several books that are all worth your time, including a couple of very entertaining takes on the dragon/adventure category, but my favorite so far is Remix.

#3 Dog On It by Spencer Quinn. Isn't it great to discover an author who has been around for a while and who already has produced a series? I'm almost finished with Dog On It and am looking forward to reading more of the Chet and Bernie Mysteries. It is an extremely well written and crafted private investigator story written from the point of view of his dog. Could have been a cutsie disaster but instead it is a gripping, perceptive, action filled book that also gives dog lovers like me a hero like no other.
