I've noticed that the Apple Desktops Books doesn't show Page 1 for thumbnail navigation, when using fixed-layout. It always starts at Page 2, I've also tried this on the fixed-layout sample Apple provide. This works differently to the ios version.
It's almost like the desktop version reserves Page 1 for the cover page, whether you have one or not, and the thumbnail navigation will not show cover page.
I'm trying to make a children's illustrated ebook, and I want reading to start on Page 1, and for it to be possible to navigate to there using the thumbnail view. I have no content for a separate and different "cover" page, that isn't already my Page 1.
