Henrietta Dorothy Everett (January 1851 – 16 September 1923) who often wrote under the nom de plume Theo Douglas, was a British novelist who was popular during her lifetime but who is now largely forgotten. She wrote at least 22 books, many of which are based on fantasy and supernatural themes, such as Malevola and Iras.
The Death Mask and Other Ghosts was published in 1920. The added story, “The Pipers of Mallory”, was published in 1917.
The text of this book is in the public domain in countries where copyright is “Life+90”, and in the USA.
