Trouble importing from Windows Kobo app

Hi,

we own a Kobo Aura e-reader. In order to be able to read Kobo and other e-books on more devices, I installed Calibre on my Win8 (now upgraded to Win10) laptop computer.
I also installed the Windows Kobo app, to download the Kobo books to my laptop. In Calibre I use the book import function to get the books in my Calibre library. I imported the first few books individually, after that I used mass import. Last time I did that was June 26, 2015. After that, I imported individual kobo books. Now it appears that the books imported after June 26, are not readable. See the attached jpeg image. I tried several Calibre versions, both 32 and 64 bit, both recent (2.63) and older versions (1.48).
I also tried to USB connect the Kobo Aura to my laptop, but did not succeed to download/store any of the books that way.
