Title Sorting

Hello, all.
I registered today to see if I could make heads or tails out of this issue. :)

I read my books in the Kindle app on my iPad. And it always bothered me that I couldn't sort the titles the way I think is best.
I'm adding a screen grab to illustrate my example. I have a collection of Indiana Jones books. They're not titled by number, but I added numbers in the "title sort" section of the metadata. However, when I save the .mobi and transfer it to the app, it's still using the main title info.

So my question is: is there a way for the app to read the sort title info instead of the main title?
