Can we export the Table of Contents

I'd like to use the Table of Contents as the starting point to take notes of the books I read. Is there a way to export the Table of Contents in a human readable format?

I got as far as exporting the toc.ncx but I couldn't find a converter anywhere. It wouldn't be too hard to write one myself but I just wanted ask here first. Maybe there's an easier way?
