The story of a young man in search of the truth regarding the fall of civilization. He exists hundreds of years in the future, where the date is no longer tracked and the world has become a wasteland of disease and desperation.
Driven by loneliness, he begins wandering around the abandoned sections of his assigned district. What he eventually finds leads him to believe the remaining government is purposely withholding information from the people. That the stories hes heard passed around since he was a young boy are only scratching the surface of a far more sinister reality.
He continues searching, only to find small fragments of history that suggest the groups of people who caused the events leading to humanity's downfall were able to escape to safety. While beginning to realize that books have been removed and destroyed in order to hide the true history of the world.
The discoveries inspire him to leave the district in search of more information. A crime punishable by death.
Due to the toxicity of the environment, the average human lifespan is only around 30 to 40 years of age. Already being 28, the coughing and fatigue has started to set in, only making the journey that much more difficult.
When he comes in contact with a group of resistance fighters, everything changes.
