Kindle: redraw top status line on exit

It seems that the top status line is not redrawn on exit from KOReader.
Steps to reproduce: turn off Aeroplane mode, start KOReader, switch off wi-fi (menu Network), exit KOReader.
The device is in Aeroplane mode but we see the wifi symbol in the top status line, which is a little bit confusing.
