I got a used damaged Kindle Dx, and installed Librerator so I can use it to read pdfs, djvus, etc. which I can't always read on smaller screens.
It's possible that something's happened to the usb connector, power supply, and/or battery.
I have to regularly recharge the Kindle. I could probably get by recharging it every 2-3 days. But recharging it often causes it to freeze. After it freezes, I can't select the menu, or anything else, and have to hold the power button for 40-odd seconds and hope it doesn't lose my Kindle collections, screw up Launchpad, or screw up Librerator when it restarts. I should probably quit Librerator before charging it.
