Short Fiction Wharton, Edith: Old New York (1924): v1, 22 July 2019

Four novellas of social observation set in nineteenth century New York.

Originally puiblished as four slim volumes inside a slipcase: in otherwords a boxed set. I couldn't find a usuable original cover from the box, so I recreated it as best I could using a scan of one of the individual volumes.

3: The Spark (The 1860s)
4: New Year’s Day (The 1870s)

The source text was the University of Adelaide. Length 79,000 words in all.
