I literally can't decide between "makes sense" combos #1 and #2. (1.1 and 1.2 are minor differences.) Of course, we don't have to talk about Apple devices only, but let's say these screen sizes, and especially the 4:3 aspect ratios for tablets make sense.
I ask this on MobileRead because I assume you enjoy some reading on your tablet(?) and/or your phone(?) as well, among maybe other (productive) activities.
We are not talking about 7.9" tablets here in the first place, these are for kids. Or, if you want, add them in the comments.
